Family Project
I was exempted from this project because I was still working on my large slab construction at the time.

Project of Choice #3
For my third project of choice, I made a mini coil pot. Since my very first coil pot was sort of a mess I decided to give it another try. This time I tried to keep the coils even and made sure not to let the coils droop as I stacked them. I could of possibly smoothed it out a bit more, but this is how it turned out.
Project of Choice #2
For my second project of choice, I created what I like to call a pentagon pot. The pot is completely constructed by geometric pentagon shapes. I was inspired by pictures on google of geometric terrariums ,which are sealed transparent globes or a similar container in which plants are grown. Terrariums are typically made of glass, so I decide to try and form one out of clay.
Project of Choice #1
For my first project of choice, I decided to make a box with a lid. I originally wanted to make coasters with some detailed designs ,but I ended up making it into a box to ensure that the project was three dimensional. On each side of the box there are textured detailed designs of different landscapes. I created these designs with a ruler and a needle tool, I also free-handed some designs from my sketches.
Large Slab Construction
For my large slab construction, I choose to make a barn. There is no particular reason I decided to create a barn, I just wanted to build some sort of house like structure. I carved my windows and door, as well as texture with a needle tool. Once fired, I glazed and filled in the windows and door.
Small Slab Construction
For my small slab construction, I made a little square box. This was the first slab construction I did in this class, so since I was still learning I kept it simple. Once fired, I glazed the box bright yellow and orange, and I use it to store hair ties in my room.
